He was born Saturday, Feb. 23, 1991, in Ponchatoula. He was a ninth-grade student at Ponchatoula High School. Surviving are his mother, Vicki Tessitore Matherne of Ponchatoula; father, Paul Michael Bertucci of Madisonville; stepfather, Rodney J. Matherne of Ponchatoula; three sisters, Sofia, Stephanie and Amanda Bertucci, all of Ponchatoula; three brothers, Benjamin Bertucci of Ponchatoula, Dylan Bertucci of Madisonville, and Samual Troxclair of Ponchatoula; two stepbrothers, Waylon Matherne of Hammond and Rodney Matherne Jr. of Natalbany; grandmother, Betty Bertucci of New Orleans; grandfather, Carmello Tessitore Jr. of New Orleans; great-grandfather, Carmello Tessitore Sr. of New Orleans; great-grand- mother, Vivian Sires of Mandeville; and grandparents, Kelly and Ann Matherne of Ponchatoula. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Peter Bertucci Sr.; grandmother, Jackie Tessitore; great-grandfather, Henry Sires; and great-grandmother, Irene Tessitore. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Monday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Rodney Taylor. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Blood Bank, 5000 Hennessey Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
