She was a housewife and a native of Bunkie. Survivors include three daughters, Catherine Biggers of Houston, Betty Jo "BJ" Strickland of Houma, and Bonita B. Neal of Albany; three sons, Leo O. Biggers of Harvey and Buford O. Biggers and Clinton "Red" Biggers, both of Lafayette; and a sister, Catherine S. Feazell of Black Lake. Her husband, C.L. Biggers, and a sister, Nellie S. Hurt, preceded her in death. Visitation and the funeral were held Saturday. Burial was in Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Independence. ***************************************************************************
