She was 60 and a native of Hammond. Visiting at Springfield Methodist Church from 10 a.m. Friday until religious services at noon. Interment in Efferson Cemetery. Survived by her husband, J.C. Blahut, Springfield; three daughters, Linda Blahut and Cathy Blahut-Harris, both of Springfield, and Angela Timberlake-Phillippe, Baton Rouge; a son, Joseph Charles Timberlake, Springfield; four sisters, Caterine Pittman and Lottie Keleher, both of Mobile, Ala., Carolyn Kleinpeter, Pennsylvania, and Jane Aswell, Massachusetts; and two brothers, Raymond Furca Jr., Albany, and Kenneth Furca, Springfield. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucille Furca; and two sons, Jesse Blahut and Charles Blahut. She was a member of Springfield Methodist Church. She was a native of Springfield and a resident of Hungarian Settlement, LA. She was 88 years old. Surviving are two sons, J.C. Blahut of Springfield, LA, and Donald A Blahut, Sr. of Hungarian Settlement, LA; two daughters, Catherine B. Lumino of Hammond, LA, and Judie B. McIntyre of Springfield, LA; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great- great-granddaughter; and a sister, Annie D. Chaucer. She was preceded in death by husband, Julius A. Blahut; two grandchildren, Linda B. Timberlake, and Jesse Blahut; three brothers, Mike, John, & Alex Duczer; two sisters, Helen D. Achord, and Lizzie D. Durbin; parents, Mike and Mary O. Duczer. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond after 9:00 a.m. until religious service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Mausoleum, Hammond.
