She was born on Sunday, March 31, 1935, in Summit, MS. Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Nelda and Gary Howell, son & daughter-in-law, Terry and Pam Martin, son & daughter-in-law, Ralph and Cindy Martin, son & daughter-in- law, Curtis and Lilian Blankenship, son & daughter-in-law, Teddy Wayne and Sue Blankenship, brother & sister-in-law, Lamar and Mary Melton, grand- children 14, great-grandchildren, 23. She is preceded in death by husband, Charles Blankenship, son, Carl Ray Blankenship. Friends will be received Friday, September 2, 2011 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond.
