BLEVINS, MARY LOUISE
Mary Louise Blevins passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Landmark 
Nursing Home at the age of 81. She resided in Marshall-Karnack, Texas for 
many years, before moving to Loranger, where she has lived for three years. 
She was a member of Crossgate Baptist Church in Robert.  She leaves behind 
her children, George "Tom" Freeman, Jr. and wife Wanda, Randy E. Freeman 
and wife Mary, Steven L. Freeman and wife Benita, Susan D. McMillian and 
husband Ken, Dorothy L. "Dottie" Vigus and husband Duane, Johnetta Ciscot 
and husband Joe, Monica Nabors, Patricia Blevins, Tom Blevins and wife 
Nora, along with 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 22 great-
great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her siblings, Dwayne Keith 
Stephenson and wife Sharon, Danny Stephenson and wife Rhonda.  Preceding 
Mary in death were her husband, Johnnie E. Blevins; parents, Burrell and 
Lydia Stephenson; son, Barry L. Freeman, brothers, Larry and Robert 
Stephenson, grandsons, Randy G. Freeman and Kevin McMillian, great-
granddaughter, Alyssa Nicole Walker.  Relatives and friends of the family 
are invited to attend the visitation from Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home 
of Ponchatoula, on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 
Visitation will continue at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Hughes Springs, 
Texas on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Graveside 
Services will be held at Hughes Springs Cemetery, on Monday, December 19, 
2011 at 11:00 a.m.  Condolences and other information are available online 
at www.thompsoncares.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Brandon G. 
Thompson Funeral Home of Ponchatoula.
