BOGUE, JAKE
Funeral services for Jake Bogue were held at the Methodist Church at 10:30
o clock on Wednesday morning, the Rev. A. Jerome Cain officiating.
Interment was in the Ponchatoula cemetery with Masonic rites at the grave.
Mr. Bogue was born March 15, 1860 and died September 3, following a fall in
his home early Friday morning. He had been a resident of Ponchatoula for
many years and was a charter member of Pine Grove Lodge, No. 288, F. and
A.M. He is survived by his widow. There were no children.

BOGUE, MATTIE
MRS. MATTIE BOGUE DIES SUDDENLY SUNDAY -  Mattie Bogue, widow of Jacob
Bogue, died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock in the Independence Hospital
following a cerebral hemorrhage, suffered late Saturday night. Funeral
services were held at 10:30 A.M. from the Methodist Church, the Rev. A.J.
Cain officiating and the Eastern Stars having charge of the services at the
grave. Interment was in Ponchatoula cemetery. Mr. Bogue passed away only a
few months ago.
