Mr. William "Bill" A. Bohning Sr., 69 years old of Ponchatoula, died Monday, February 11, 2008 in Springdale, AR. He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1938 in Ponchatoula, son of the late Chester F. and Winnie "Sug" Davis Bohning. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Pat Gainey Bohning; daughter, Susan B. Foster; 2 sons, William A. Bohning Jr., Mike Bohning; 4 grandchildren; brother, John Bohning; 3 sisters, Elaine Kowle, Mary Morgan, Margaret Price. Friends will be received Friday, February 15, 2008, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 8:00 am until the service begins at 10:00 am at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. She was 94 and a native of Springfield. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. William Eubanks. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery. Survived by three daughters, Elaine B. Kolwe, Ponchatoula, Mary B. Morgan, Decatur, Ala., and Margaret B. Price, Huntsville, Ala.; two sons, William Bohning and John Bohning, both of Ponchatoula; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
