BOLDEN, ALMA BRADFORD
A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 
2010, at her home. She was 87. Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 
Scenic Highway, Thursday, Aug. 12, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting at Oasis 
Christian Center on Friday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., 
conducted by Bishop Howard Quillen Jr. Interment in Port Hudson National 
Cemetery, Zachary. Survived by her husband, William H. Bolden; godson, 
Bishop Charles Wallace; three sisters, Alberta Williams, Los Angeles, Leola 
Pitts and Lenna Pierce, both of Amite; and five sisters-in-law. Preceded in 
death by her parents, Thomas and Susie Bradford; four sisters and five 
brothers. Arrangements by Hall Davis & Son.

BOLDEN, ZULA 
Zula Bolden, 83, a native of Clinton, died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She is survived by one sister, Emma 
Lee Jackson of Hammond; and two brothers, C.B. Gaten and George Gaten, 
both of Hammond. The funeral will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at St. James AME 
Church No. 2. Dismissal will be Thursday at 11 a.m. followed by burial at 
the church cemetery. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
