BOOS, EVA BLENK
p. 1, col. 2:  Eva Blenk Boos, of Hammond, sister of the late Archbishop
James H. Blenk, died at home of her son-in- law Monday in New Orleans. Born
in Germany; came to New Orleans at age 11; married William Boos and moved
to Hammond 38 years ago. Survived by one son, S. F. Boos of Hammond; seven
grandchildren, Miss Eva Broas, Albert and Edward Broas of New Orleans,
George A. Broas of Terra Haute, IN, Mrs. Carl Hellmers of San Antonio, TX,
Mrs. Alfred Smith of Buffalo, NY and Miss Claudia Boos of Hammond; four
great, grandchildren. Funeral in New Orleans; interment in Greenwood
Cemetery, New Orleans.

BOOS, JAMES D. SR.
Amite -- James D. Boos Sr., 93, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond.  A native of St. Bernard Parish, he was a retired
welder from Boilermakers Union of New Orleans.  Survivors include one
daughter, Diane Pedelahore of Amite; one son, James Boos Jr. of Slidell;
four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death
by his wife, Nobe Ann Boos; his parents, Jacob and Matilda Boos; three
brothers, Jacob, John and Jules Boos; and one sisters, Althea Johannesen.
Visitation will be Saturday at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 2 p.m.
until Betty Harvey conducts the funeral at 3 p.m.  In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
