BORDONARO, JOSEPH, JR.
Mr. Joseph Bordonaro Jr., 77-years-old of Loranger, died Wednesday, May 23,
2007 in North Oaks Medical Center.  He was born Tuesday, October 22, 1929
in New Orleans, son of the late Joseph and Catherine Lacerva Bordonaro Sr.
He was a retired sergeant for the New Orleans Police Department and he also
successfully owned and operated the Crescent Lift Service.  Mr. Bordonaro
was a loving husband and a caring father and grandfather.  Surviving are
his wife, Gladys G. Bordonaro and daughter and son-in-law, Darlene "Dee"
and Wayne Simpson; son & daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kim Bordonaro; five
grandchildren, Jennifer Crowe, Robin, Chad, and Cory Simpson, Tina
McIntosch; five great-grandchildren, Chelsi, Tyler, Sophia, and Dalton
Simpson, Shane McIntosch; brother, Philip Bordonaro; two sisters, Ann
Dalton, Rosemary Muller and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded
in death by two brothers, Anthony Bordonaro Sr., Alec Bordonaro; two
sisters, Sarah Cusimano and Mamie Weixel.  Friends will be received
Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Harry McKneely &
Son in Hammond.  Services will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in
Loranger on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in
the St. Dominick Catholic Cemetery in Loranger.  In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
