BORGSTEDE, BETTY JANE 
Died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at her residence in Wilmer. She
was 66 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation was at McKneely Funeral
Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation at the funeral
home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Thursday, conducted by
Brother Ken Anthony. Interment in Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger. Survived
by five daughters, Debbie Jones, Wilmer, Connie Baham and Norma Baham, both
of Natalbany, Sherry Martin, Slidell, and Flora Irwin, Winter Haven, Fla.;
a son, Charles Baham, Pumpkin Center; 11 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Scott Brady Baham; father,
Lawrence Borgstede; mother, Flora Bell Watkins; and a sister, Flora Lee
Thompson.
