She was 42, a registered nurse at Lallie Kemp Hospital and a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tab" Boudreaux of Franklinton; son, Andrew Boudreaux of Franklinton; two daughters, Mallory Boudreaux and Emily Boudreaux, both of Franklinton; mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Neil Duplechin of Simmesport; father and stepmother, Dale and Sharon Rogers of Lettsworth; five brothers, Rex Rogers, Tim Rogers, Dean Rogers and Ricky Dale Rogers, all of Lettsworth, and Christopher Rogers of Hessmer; and five sisters, Sandra Scott and Sherrie LaDale Austin, both of Lettsworth, Patricia LaBorde of Simmesport, Della Godfrey of Denham Springs, and Kelly Dupont of Mansura. Obituaries may be viewed online at http://www.crainfh.com. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Daily Star: 3/7/2009 BOUDREAUX, BETH MARIE At age 19 and a lifelong resident of Husser, Beth lost her life as a result of an automobile-pedestrian accident on Friday, March 6, 2009 in Hammond. She attended St. Albert the Great Chapel and Catholic Student Center at SLU and was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Husser. Beth was a sophomore honor student as a psychology major at SLU and earned the Progression Scholarship for completing 25% of her degree program within one year. She was a member of AOü Sorority Kappa-Tau Chapter and a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor and Service Society. Prior to entering SLU, Beth was a 2007 honor graduate of Loranger High School where she received the "Tops Scholarship". From the 5th grade through her senior year, Beth was a cheerleader for Loranger High. She was known for her sweet attitude and joyful personality. She is survived by her loving parents, Gilbert Paul, Jr. and Lisa Drude Boudreaux; three brothers, Christopher Boudreaux and his wife, Cherish, Michael Boudreaux and Gilbert Paul Boudreaux, III and one niece, Maia Boudreaux. Beth is also survived by her devoted and caring paternal and maternal grandparents, Gilbert Paul, Sr. and Jo Ann Taix Boudreaux and Robert E. and Gloria Baglio Drude; godfather, Johnny Lassiegne and godmother, Bobbette Drude Davis. Lindsey Prima and Beth shared a very special cousin/friend relationship and called themselves "salt and pepper" as Beth was "salt" for her blonde hair and Lindsey was "pepper" for her dark hair. He was a resident of Loranger, where he had lived since 1963. He was born in Raceland, LA on the 17th of July, 1925, and was a former resident of Houma. He was the son of Alexander Boudreaux and Amy Legendre Boudreaux. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Thelma Pellegrin Boudreaux He is survived, also, by his two brothers - Joseph Charles Boudreaux and his wife Hazel, and Harry Boudreaux, both of Houma, and his two sisters: Verna Levron of Bayou Blue, and Ida Mae Breaux of Schriever, and his sister-in-law: Velma Pellegrin Cunningham and her husband, A. J. Cunningham, of Houma. Additionally, he is survived by his 3 daughters and their husbands: Georgiana & Earl Bankston, of Loranger; Diana & John Frazier, of Ponchatoula; and Anita & Richard Garner, of Hammond. He is survived by his 5 sons and their wives: Brian Boudreaux of Holden; Carl & Gail Boudreaux, of Covington; Barry & Saskia Boudreaux of Loranger; Chris & Lisa Boudreaux, of Loranger; and Dickie & Janell Boudreaux, of Loranger. He is survived by: 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 1 step great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Alex & Harris Boudreaux, of Raceland, and sister, Velma Bonvillian, of Houma. George Joseph Boudreaux was a WW II veteran, honorably discharged by the U. S. Navy in 1946. He worked as a master-machinist, ex-dairy farmer, and was very active in the Saint Dominic Church in Husser, LA, for 44 years. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Father Della Penta, Independence, LA. He was a charter member and 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5627 of Independence, where he served as Financial Secretary for over 20 years and served as Grand Knight for 2 terms. He was a longtime member of the National FCRV Camping Club and member of the local LA Bayou Retirees and Pelican Retirees clubs, where he served as field director, financial secretary and president.
