She was born on Thursday, April 24, 1969 in Baton Rouge. Denise graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2000, receiving a masters degree in health, and pursuing her doctorates degree MA, LMT. She had a special place in her heart and loved working with veterans. She was also a Kaycee Lady. She was an extraordinary person that touched many peoples lives, she was loved by everyone. Surviving are husband, Chet Anthony Bourg; daughter, Kate Bourg; parents, T.J. Muscarello and Margaret Mondebello Muscarello; adopted sister, Kelly "Loge" Raimondo; uncles, Phillip and Vincent Mondebello; aunt, Nicky McBride; father and mother in-laws, Ronald and Bobbie Bourg; 2 sisters-in- law and their husbands, Theresa and David Sams and Rhonda and Ronnie Fusilier. She is preceded in death by grandparents; Vincent and Jennie Mondebello and Jessie Muscarello and Lena and Nick Scardina; cousin who was dear to her, Sam Coniglio; she was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Our Lady of Pompeii in Tickfaw from 9:00 a.m. until services. Services will be held at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 11:00a.m. with Fr. Hank Grover, officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum in Independence. Bourg, great-grandmother, Wilma Picou, step-grandfather, Daniel Breaux, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by great-grandfather, Clinton Picou, great- grandparents, Albert and Agnes Bourg.
