BOVA, DOMINICK JOSEPH 
A retired employee of Ethyl Corp. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at
5:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at The Retirement Center. He was 86 and a
native of Hammond. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida
Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the rosary at 
7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Wednesday.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Entombment in Greenoaks
Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Fena Bova, Baton
Rouge; a sister, Jennie Varisco, New Orleans; nieces, including (godchild)
Dawn Craft and Denise Vutera-Halphen, both of Baton Rouge; and nephews,
including Dana Vutera, Baton Rouge, David Vutera, Ossining, N.Y., Frank
Bova III, Baton Rouge, and Vince Bova, Hammond. Preceded in death by his
parents, Francesco and Anna Bova; two sisters, Lena Aucoin and Fena
Crocilla; and two brothers, Frank Bova Jr. and Tony Bova. He was a member
of Knights of Columbus Council No. 5530, Fraternal Order of Eagles and St.
Thomas More Usher Society. He enjoyed gardening and grew a vegetable garden
every spring.

BOVA, FENA PELLICHINO 
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000,
in Baton Rouge. She was 82 and a native of Hammond. Visiting at Rabenhorst
Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Friday.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at noon Friday,
celebrated by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park
Mausoleum. Survived by a godchild, Dawn Craft, Baton Rouge; numerous nieces
and nephews, including Denise Halpen and Dana Vutera, both of Baton Rouge,
David Vutera, Ossining, N.Y., Rex and Randy Pellichino, Baton Rouge,
Russell Pellichino, Hammond, and Sam Locicero and Buddy Vutera, both of
Baton Rouge; two sisters, Jenny Fazzio, San Jose, Calif., and Rose
Santangelo, Hammond; and two brothers, Sam and Frank Pellichino, Hammond.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dominick J. Bova; parents, Joseph
Pellichino and Josephine Giamalva Pellichino; brothers, Tony and Pete
Pellichino; and sisters, Lena Vutera, Nellie Locicero and Mary Bonfiglio.
She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She loved to bake and
was known for her Italian fig cookies and holiday cakes. She also enjoyed
needlepoint and crochet.

BOVA, MARY GENNARDO 
A native and resident of Hammond, she died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 91. Visitation at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Religious
services at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Saturday,
conducted by a Dominican priest. Entombment in Rose Memorial Mausoleum.
Survived by two sons, Frank Bova III, Baton Rouge, and Vince Bova, Hammond;
four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank
Gennardo, Chicago, and Lawrence Gennardo, New Orleans. Preceded in death by
her husband, Frank Bova Jr.; a daughter, Marie Ann Bova; two brothers, John
and Joe Gennardo; and parents, Vincent and Antoinette Gennardo.
