She was 66. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church, Greensburg, on Sunday, May 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Monday, May 29, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Bo Rice. Burial will be in the Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg. Betty is survived by her husband, Joe Boyle, Greensburg; her children, Denise and spouse Stormy Lee, Hammond, Chris and spouse Amy Holland, Kentwood and Toni Fitzgerald, Greensburg; the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Rainey and Jacob Lee, Hammond, Shane, Whitney and Kaysey Holland, all of Kentwood, Morgan and Carey "Bubba" Creel and Dixie Fitzgerald, all of Greensburg; and the father of her children, Eugene Holland, Greensburg. She is also survived by two aunts, Pearline Monk, Clinton, and Allie Dillon, Kentwood; and a nephew, Tommy Ray Johnson, Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Evelyn Brannon Williams; brother, Willie T. "Son" Williams; and sisters, Lillian W. Simmons, Evelyn Louise Williams, Doris W. Sternberg and Pat W. Davis. She was a 1957 graduate of Greensburg High School where she was voted Miss Greensburg High School and Most Athletic. She was a high school cheerleader, played basketball and won numerous talent shows throughout her high school years. She will be remembered for her blooming personality and her contagious smile. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pallbearers will be Tommy Carter, Ken Carter, Greg Carruth, David "Smiley" Peroyea, Kyle Brabham, Todd Lee, Mark Davis and Lawrence "Whitey" McGuff. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Holland, Jacob Lee, Bubba Creel, Billy Ray Johnson, Kelly Storey, Jimmy Meadows, Billy Brabham, Jimmy Wascom and Tommy Ray Johnson. She was a native of Abita Springs. Survivors include her children, Stephen H. Boyle and Patricia Boyle Gureasko; sister, Nellie Stanga; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Henry T. Boyle; brother, George W. Clifton; and a sister, preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie, Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11.
