She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend, whom will be missed dearly. Beulah leaves behind her children, Shirley Kyzar of Hammond, Brenda Drude and husband Petie of Amite, Annette Faust and husband Randall of Hammond, Elaine Laurent and husband Paul of Ponchatoula, along with her grandchildren, Jeanine Connelley, Kerry Kyzar, Stacey Neal, Tasha Patterson, Shane Faust, Tiffany Robicheaux, Michael Laurent and Brandon Laurent; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Elsie Cox and husband John, Dotsy Eleser and husband Richard, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Beulah in death were her husband, Dudley Braud; seven brothers and six sisters; son-in-law, Lee Roy Kyzar; parents, Louis and Mary Antoinette Meyers. Thompson Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Rev. A native of Dutchtown, Braud was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired after 35 years as a produce inspector for the state Department of Agriculture. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Gloria Seamon Braud; and four brothers, Joseph Alton "Jack," Cleveland "Shnip," Felman "Duddie," and Dudley Braud. Mr. Braud was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, having served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, and had been working security at Middendorf's in Manchac. He was a member of American Legion Post 47, Ponchatoula, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
