Memorial service will be held at Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Thursday. Survivors include a devoted wife, Shirley Lewis Breda; a son, Ronald Bernard Breda and wife Inna, Las Vegas; a brother, Dr. Malcolm Breda, New Orleans; a sister, Frankie B. Breda, Alexandria; nephews, Dr. Leon-ard Breda and wife Sonya, Lake Charles, Ernest Breda, Los Angeles, and Kahn N. Travis and wife Marie, San Diego; nieces, Charlene B. Norman and husband Robert, Hammond, Elizabeth A. Breda, Baton Rouge, and Carla Franklin Boatner and husband Mack, Chandler, Ariz.; three sisters-in- law, Juanita Lewis Franklin and Luverne Lewis Travis, both of Baton Rouge, and Florence Breda, Lake Charles; great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives, former students and friends. He was a member of Tanner African Methodist Episcopal Church, Phoenix, and life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Maude Cruikshank Breda; and brothers, Dr. Leonard C. and Ernest Breda. *************************************************************************
