Born June 29, 1932 in Baton Rouge, son of the late T C James and Vera Hollynda Varnado Breland. He was a Masonic member of Livingston Lodge #160, Hammond, played the Tuba with the Baton Rouge Symphony, and was formerly a salesman and manager at several auto dealerships in Tangipahoa Parish. Surviving are his beloved wife Darlene Murray Breland; three daughters, Donna Breland Pettitt, Cathy Breland Aime, Holly Breland Wrinkles; three sons, James Breland, Stephen Breland, Sheldon Chaney; nephew, John Weathsby; 10 Grandchildren, and two great-grand- children. He was preceded in death by his first wife Catherine Hooks Breland; sister, Athelea Breland Weathsby; and brother, TC James Breland, Jr. Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond from 9 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Home Chapel Service, conducted by Frank Lanier.
