BRIDEWELL, MARY McCONNELL
Mrs. Mary McConnell Bridewell, in her 90th year, passed away Sunday at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry A. Mentz, Sr.  Services were held Monday;
interment was in Grace cemetery.  She was born and educated in New Orleans;
following her marriage they resided in Wesson, Miss.  She lived for a time
with her son, A. C. Bridewell.  In 1925, she came to Hammond and lived with
her daughter and son-in-law, Henry A. Mentz, Sr.  She is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Mentz of Hammond and Mrs. R. J. Rumage of Vicksburg, Miss.;
one son, William A. Bridewell of Memphis, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren and 3
great-grandchildren.
