BRISBOIS, CHARLENE McKENZIE
She died on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Lane Regional Medical Center in
Zachary. She was 75, born May 17, 1934, in Tylertown, Miss., and was a
resident of Kentwood. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on
Monday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. until graveside services at Woodland Cemetery,
Kentwood, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. William Hyde. She is survived by
three daughters, Brenda Prudhomme and her husband, Michael, Greenwell
Springs, Gina Carver and her husband, Chuck, and Michelle Brisbois, all of
Kentwood, son, Wesley Ryals, Kentwood; four granddaughters, Kellie and
Wendy Prudhomme, Marta Sproles and Hannah Carver; two great-granddaughters,
Sophie and Rylie Sproles; and two sisters, Ruth Sorrell, Tylertown, and
Allene West, Jarreau. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann
Ryals; son, Jerry Jay Ryals; parents, Price and Maude McKenzie; and
