BRISLAN, LUCILLE
Lucille Brislan, 93 years old of Hammond, LA, formerly a long time resident
of Frankfort KY. died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her residence.  Lucille
was born on Tuesday, March 23, 1915 in Camden Arkansas.  Mrs. Brislan loved
to play bridge and watch the University of Kentucky basketball games.  She
was a retired Dietician for the State of Kentucky.  Surviving are son &
daughter-in-law, John and Sue Brislan of Marion Iowa; sister, Imogene
Clemons and brother, John Silliman; 3 grandchildren, Christa Burgess,
Angela Sticker and Drue Gray; 7 great-grandchildren who lovingly refered to
her as "Grammie Brislan", Brandon Burgess, Justin Burgess, Allison Burgess,
Tristan Gray, Abigail Sticker, Ryan Sticker and Sean Sticker; also survived
by numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by ; husband of
50 years, John B. Brislan Jr.; parents, George and Anna Silliman; siblings,
Ellis Silliman, Hazel Scott, Georgina Silliman, Guy Silliman, Carol Maloney
and Marie Ledford .  Friends will be received Wednesday, October 8, 2008,
at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 11:00 a.m. until
services.  Services will be held in the funeral home chapel Wednesday,
October 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held on Friday
10/10 in the Frankfort cemetery in Frankfort KY at 2:00 p.m.  An on-line
