BROADWAY, LeROY
LeRoy Broadway, 59, a native of Magnolia, Miss., and resident of Hammond,
died October 1, 2007 at his home.  Survivors include his wife, Dorothy
Skinner Broadway; mother, Katie Broadway; two daughters, Somoa Broadway,
Albany and Quivioa Dokes of Hammond; step-daughters, Jennifer Stewart,
Hammond; three sons, LeRoy, Thomas Earl and Larry Broadway, all of Albany;
seven sisters, Earnestine MaGee, Magnolia, Miss., Vera Carver, Julia
Fairley, Mary Dykes, all of Hammond, Ella Coleman, Betty Shelby, Benton
Harbor, Michigan; and Shirley Cole of Houston; two brothers, Robert
Broadway, Hammond, and Vernell Broadway, Hammond; seven grandchildren and
two step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest
Broadway; sister, Myrtis MaGee; and brother, Thomas Earl Broadway.  The
funeral will be Friday at Eastside Pentecostal COGIC, Hammond, 7 p.m.
Dismissal will be Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Holly Gardens
Cemetery.  N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, in charge.
