BROOKE, VIRGINIA 
A native of Tulare, Calif., she died at 8:47 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2002, at
Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite. She was 89 and a resident of Amite.
Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 8 a.m. Thursday until
religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Starrett Cleveland.
Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite. Survived by three sons and two
daughters-in-law, Robert and Carol Brooke of Amite, Jim and Ellen Moss of
Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and Douglas Moss of South Carolina; eight grand-
children, including Lewis, Clifford and Robin Brooke, all of Amite; and
other friends and relatives, including Linda Brooke of Albany, Annette
Chadwick of Amite, Jennifer Bickham of Ethel and Christina Chadwick of
Amite. Preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Brooke; a son, Rusty
Brooke; and a grandson, Dana Behring.
