BROTHERN, SAM S., SR.
A resident of Kentwood, LA, he died Monday, April 14, 2008, at his home.
He was 58 and a native of Hammond, LA.  Visitation at N.A. James Funeral
Home, in Hammond, LA Friday, April 18, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m.
Services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Bladesfield C.O.G.I.C. in
Kentwood, LA.  Interment in Varnado Cemetery, Progress, Miss.  He is
survived by his wife and friend, Georgia M. Brothern; five sons, Sam
Brothern Jr., Eric Smith, Lionel Miller, Generro Miller and William
Preston; three daughters, Denise Brothern, Jennifer (Obbie) Dillion, and
Lashunda Miller; one brother, Albert Brothern; four sisters, Louise Hughes,
Minnie Bell Williams, Ernesting Thomas, and Juanita (Oneal) Henderson.
