BROWNING, AUDREY P. 
She was born April 23, 1926, in Amite to John N. Pulliam and Elizabeth
Jenkins Pulliam, and died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in Texas City, Texas.
After graduating from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, she attended
nursing school at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. On April 9, 1946, she
married Clyde Lee Browning of Baton Rouge, following his return from active
duty in Europe during World War II. Clyde and Audrey moved to Texas in
1948, establishing a permanent home in Texas City. Audrey's sole focus was
the care and nurturing of her family and service and support of her church,
Grace United Methodist Church. Audrey was an active member of the church
and past president of the United Methodist Women organization at the
church. She is survived by three sons, Barry Browning, Houston, Terry
Browning, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Randall Browning, Friendswood, Texas; two
grandchildren, Megan Browning and Nathan Browning, both of Friendswood;
four sisters, Levina Dake, Irma Watts and Johnnie Sullivan, all of Baton
Rouge, and Yvonnie Slaton of Walker; a brother, Reggie Pulliam of Zachary;
a brother-in-law, Elmer Ray Browning of Santa Fe, Texas; and numerous
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Clyde; and two brothers, Seaborn Pulliam and Huey Pulliam. Her family would
like to thank everyone at Hearthstone of Mainland, A-Med Community Hospice
and the many doctors and nurses who helped care for her during the last
several years. Funeral service and burial were held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004,
at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

BROWNING, ELIZABETH SPRING FELPS
She passed from this life on July 26, 2012 while residing at Hilltop 
Village Nursing Home in Kerrville, TX. She was born November 29, 1939 in 
Roseland and was 72 years of age. She retired as an accounting manager with 
GMAC; was very active in helping others in any way she could, especially 
with her tremendous talent of cooking; and departed from this life with a 
great love for the Lord. She is survived by her 3 sons, Kenneth L. Felps 
and wife, Stephanie Rovira Felps, Livingston, Keith K. Felps and wife, Mary 
Lee Felps, Kerrville, TX and Wendell W. Felps, Kerrville, TX; 6 
grandchildren, Emily, Madeline, Sarah, Anthony, Miriam, and Abigail Felps. 
She was prepreceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. "Kenny" Browning; 
parents, Floville "Bill" and Ruby Elizabeth Spring; brother, Chester E. 
Spring. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. until 
9 p.m. on Wednesday and at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Roseland, from 9 a.m. 
until religious services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Services 
conducted by Bro. Larry Blades and Bro. Keith K Felps. Interment Hyde
