Dorothy (Dot) was a former resident of Independence, Louisiana for the past 12 years with her husband, Donald Bryant. Mrs. Bryant was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Dorothy (Dot) was born on Wednesday, April 8, 1931 in Franklinton, Louisiana, daughter of the late Joseph and Vida Dykes. She was a retired Cotten Farmer for Self. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmie Hollie, a son, Hilton Hollie, five sisters, one brother, three grand- daughters, Melissa Berteau, Georgena Hollie and Susan Elizabeth Hollie; four great-grandchildren, Li'l Wayne Joiner and three others.
