He was a also a native of Covington and worked as a logger. He is survived by seven daughters, Melvina Polk, Augustine Bural and Millie Casel, all of Covington, Gracie Mae Fultz of Roseland, Evelina Polk of Slidell, Hazel Miller of Independence and Ollie Mae Cincade of Dallas; six sons, Michael Polk, George Braswell, James Polk and Leroy Bural, all of Covington, and Clifford and Mack Cincade, both of Dallas; one sister, Melvina Holmes of Chicago; four brothers, James, Norman, Elroy and Joseph Duncan, all of Chicago; 32 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seven- day Adventist Church, Covington, and Sumiter Hammond will conduct the funeral at 7:30. Dismissal will be Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge. ***************************************************************************
