BURCHES, EVELYN
Evelyn Burches, 69, of Hammond and a native of Tangipahoa, died February
14, 2008 at North Oaks Hospital.  Visitation will be at St. James AME
Church, Thursday from 5 until the funeral at 7 p.m. conducted by the Rev.
Lloyd Washington.  Survivors are her sons, Bobby Burches and Larry (Brenda)
Burches; brothers, James William and Mose Burton; nine grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Claude
Mason; father, Saul Cryer Sr.; one daughter, Jackie Burches; four brothers,
Willie Washington, Bobby William, Aaron Mason and Clarence Moore.  N.A.
James Funeral Home, Hammond, in charge.
