BURDINE, JOAN CHRISTINE RHODEN
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the 
Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Joan Christine Rhoden Burdine, 75, who 
passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. 
Mrs. Burdine was a native of Kentwood and a longtime resident of Lafayette. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin D. Burdine; parents, John 
Harold and Josie Christine Rhoden; and sister, Bettie Rhoden. She is 
survived by her three sons, John Michael Burdine and wife Patsy, Mark 
Burdine, and Sean Burdine and wife Carol; two granddaughters, Alyssa and 
Rachelle Burdine; and sister, Harrel Jean Pippin. Relatives and friends are 
invited to attend visitation at Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, 
Lafayette, on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
