BURISE, CURTIS
Amite -- Curtis Burise, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Burise of New Orleans; two sons, Burnel
Wood of Paradise and Corey Burise of New Orleans; two daughters, Lisa Davis
and Stephanie Broussard, both of New Orleans; four sisters, Sarah Oliver of
Las Vegas, Mildred Mosley of Los Angeles and Marsha Armstrong and Carmel
Burise, both of Amite; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He
was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Burise Jr.; his parents, Edna and
Otis Burise; and one brother, Clyde Burise.  Visitation will be today at
Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Robert McCarty
will conduct the funeral Saturday at 1 p.m. at McMichael AME Church.
Burial will be at Butler Cemetery, Amite.
