Earl F. Burk, 82, of 506 North General Pershing Street, died Friday, Aug. 18, at 10:20 p.m. at the Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, following a heart attack suffered at his home earlier in the day. He was a native of Kansas and a resident of Hammond. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the U.S.D.A. Food Inspection Service, being in charge of the southern district. Religious services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Thomas funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Charles Raynal officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery. He was a graduate of Kansas State University. He also did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin. He was a member of the First Presbyterian and a past deacon and elder of the church. He was a member of the Masonic Order. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Ferguson Burk, Hammond; one daughter, Mrs. Quincy (Louise) Hargis, of Clinton; three grandchildren, Mrs. John A. ROBIN BALDO Harahan - Janet R. Robin Baldo Burke, 63, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000. Survivors include her husband, Alvin Burke, Hammond; children, Peggy R. Tull, Jacksonville, Fla., Susan R. Von derhaar, Harahan, Harry Robin Jr., River Ridge; and two grandchildren. Her first husband, Harry Robin Sr., second husband, Leon C.
