Audrey was born in Belfast, Ireland to the late Ernest and Dorothy Pavitt and raised in Bishop's Stortford, England before becoming a war bride and moving to Louisiana in 1945. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Burt, her son, Wayne Thomas Burt and his wife, Marilyn Burt, all of Hammond, and daughter, Karen Burt-Coker and son-in- law, Walter Coker of St. Augustine, FL. Audrey is also survived by five grandchildren, Genie Tisdale, Craig Davidge, Regan and Britton Mizell and Brennan Coker, as well as six great-grandchildren, Heather, Michelle and Nicole Tisdale, Aaron and Trent Davidge and Bralyn Graham. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Cooper and survived by two other sisters, Valerie Atkins and Maureen Olafson. A memorial service officiated by Father Randy Cuevas, will be held at St. Albert the Great Chapel on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Mr. Burt, 75, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was born March 11, 1933 to Eddie Burt and Maude Marie Mullins Burt. Mr. Burt served as a Page under Harry Truman in the U.S. Congress. He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. By occupation, he was a Buyer for Dupont Chemical Company in La Place, La. He was a member of the Protestant faith and First Christian Church in Hammond, La for 67 years. Preceding him in death was his parents; one brother, Clifton Burt; sister, Catherine Burt; his first wife, Frances Callihan Burt and his second wife Dottie Burt.
