BUSHNELL, LAWRENCE R. 
Lawrence R. Bushnell, 55, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, of a heart attack at
Lakeview Hospital. A native of Bay City, Mich., he had retired from the
U.S. Coast Guard and was a Vietnam War veteran and a graduate of Saginan
Valley College in Saginan, Mich.. He was a member of Columbia Players in
Hammond, the Tangipahoa Umpire League and Grace Memorial Episcopal Church,
Hammond. Survivors include his wife, Connie George Bushnell, Hammond; his
father, Rollin E. Bushnell; his mother, Hazel Bushnell; a son, Lawrence R.
Bushnell Jr., Baton Rouge; a daughter, Cassanora Lynn Bushnell, Montgomery,
Ala.; and a sister, Rolda Bushnell Schepper, Tampa, Fla. Visitation was
this morning from 10 until the funeral at noon at Schoen Funeral Home,
Covington. Burial will be private.
