BUTCHER, VERA LOUISE MOULLIET 
Houston, Texas -- Funeral services for Vera Louise Moulliet Butcher, 87, a
Ponchatoula native, were April 21 from St. Luke's Catholic Church, Houston,
Texas. Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery, Lawndale. Mrs. Butcher died
April 15 at the Hampton in Pearland, Texas. She was a graduate of St. Mary
of the Pines at Chatawa, Miss., a volunteer in various Little League and
Catholic Organizations, including St. Joseph's Women's Center, and was a
charter member of Catholic Daughters, Court Mother of Unity. Survivors are
a sister, Marilyn Moulliet of Metairie; a brother, Charles Moulliet of
Ponchatoula; sisters-in-law Doris Moulliet of Ponchatoula, Mary Butcher of
Houston, and Florine Jones, of Beaumont, Texas; sons Dr. Percy C. Butcher
III of Houston; Chuck Butcher of Boling, Texas, and Paul Butcher of
Houston; and a daughter, Janet Jones of Houston. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Dr. Percy C. Butcher Jr., her parents, Charles and Louise
Moulliet of Ponchatoula; and a brother, Victor Moulliet of Ponchatoula.
