BYL, ALISON MARIE
Alison Marie Byl, 28, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, in New Orleans.  She is
survived by her mother, Gloria Byl of Hammond; her father, Tom Byl of
Ponchatoula; two brothers, Aaron Byl of New Orleans and Allen Byl of
Hammond; her maternal grandfather, James Bagot of Baton Rouge; her paternal
grandparents, Rose and William Byl of Ponchatoula.  She was preceded in
death by her maternal grandmother, Gloria Bagot.  Visitation will be Friday
at Geisler Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 
8 a.m. until the funeral at 10.

BYL, ROSE CECILE FIELD
Rose Cecile Field Byl, 85, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Monday, 
December 5, 2005, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson.  Survivors 
include her husband, William "Bill" Byl, Ponchatoula; four sons, John Byl 
of Daphne, Alabama, Jim Byl of Ponchatoula, Tom Byl of Collins, Missouri 
and Bob Byl of Loveland, Colorado; two sisters, Loretta Block of Woodbourn, 
Oregon and Joann Dunham of Conro, Texas; 11 grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick 
Alonzo and Mary McCarthy Field; a sister, Mary Kemerich; and  a brother, 
Robert "Bob" Field.  The funeral was Saturday, December 10, 2005, at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial was in Ponchatoula Cemetery.  Harry 
McKneely & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
