He was a native of Baton Rouge. Survivors include his wife, Celester Cage of Velma; four sons, Jerome Cage, Bernell Cage and Byron Cage, all of Baton Rouge, and Frankie Cage of Clarksville, Kentucky; five stepsons, Ray, Houston and Felton Jackson, all of Hammond, Randy Jackson of Magnolia, Miss., and Shelby Jackson of Summit, Miss.; five daughter, Shirley Baltrip of Oakland, Calif., Kathy Rezvan of San Ramona, Calif.; Pam Brown of Clarksville, Ky., Charlotte Cage of Korea, Joyce Hookfin of Oakland; three stepdaughters, Brenda Jackson of Hammond, and Beatrice and Tyla Jackson, both Baton Rouge; two sisters, Elizabeth Cage of Baton Rouge and Mary Lee Cage of Oakland; three brothers, Willie Cage of New Orleans, Johnnie Cage of Amite and Thomas Mullins of San Ramona; two stepbrothers, Edwin and Sunset Richardson, both of Amite; stepmother, Leona Cage of Amite; 34 grandchildren; and seven great-grand- children. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Cage; his mother, Isabel Cage; a brother, Clarence Cage; three sisters, Alice Cage, Leaesther Weatherspoon and Annie Robertson; a son, Darryl Cage; and one daughter, Cora Cage. Visitation will be Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 9 p.m. David Franklin and Randy Jackson will conduct the funeral Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gordon Richardson Temple of Deliverance COGIC. He is survived by his mother, Leona Cage of Amite; one daughter, Tammy Griffin of Hammond; two sisters, Margaret Mills of Minden and Mary Lee Cage of California; three brothers, Wilbert and Edmond Richardson, both of Amite, and Willie Cage Sr. of New Orleans; and two grandchildren. His father, Fred Cage Sr.; and two brothers, Fred Cage Jr. and Clarence Cage, preceded him in death. Visitation will be today at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m., and burial will be at Butler's Cemetery, Amite. ***************************************************************************
