CALAHAN, MYRTLE RITA JOHNSON 
Folsom - Myrtle Rita Johnson Calahan, 76, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at
Lallie Kemp Medical Center in Independence. A native of New Roads, she was
a resident of Folsom. Survivors include her husband, James Calahan, Folsom;
three daughters, Cynthia C. Calahan Grady, Montreal, Canada, Ylori Calahan,
Wallace, Texas, and Wanda Calahan, Kansas City, Mo.; four sons, James
Arnold Calahan, Hammond, Marvin L. Calahan, New Orleans, Anthony B.
Calahan, Norfolk, Va., Selwyn L. Calahan, Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters,
Mary Lawrence and Geneva Dugas, both of Baton Rouge; and 17 grandchildren.
Leroy Divinity and Phillip Cockerhan conducted the funeral Saturday at
Midway Church of Christ Holiness. Burial was in Folsom Community Cemetery.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton, was in charge of arrangements.
