She was 89. Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a daughter, Lillie Nuccio Kraft, Ponchatoula; two sisters, Annie Cumbo, California, and Jannie Carderara, Chalmette; a brother, Sam Recotta, Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Kenny, David and Craig Kraft; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her first husband, Philip Nuccio; second husband, Sam Calamia; a grandson, Phillip Kraft; two sisters, Rosie Palamo and Mary Primo; and three brothers, Charlie, Peter and Tony Recotta. She was 63, a resident of Hammond and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.
