She was born on Wednesday, September 19, 1923 in New Orleans. She was a retired Office Manager for Louisiana Power and Light Co. Surviving are daughter, Barbara Calcagno; daughter & son-in-law, JoEllen Arnold and husband Douglas; grandchildren, Glenn, Maria, Wayne, Michelle, Donna, Jennifer and Allen; great-grandchildren, Haidyn, Isabella, Ava, Kylie and Lexie; sisters, Rose Bonnemaison, Angela Sellen and Frances Spitale. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Pee Wee" Calcagno; parents, Vincent and Annie DeSalvo; brothers, Joe and Henry DeSalvo and sisters, Josephine Danna and Mary Vullo.
