She was 84 and a native of Natalbany. Visitation at First Baptist Church, Brookhaven, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Survived by her husband, Ralph V. Calcote, Brookhaven; sons, Stuart Wayne Calcote, Los Angeles, and Robert Wall Calcote, Issaquah, Wash.; daughters, Cherryl Ann Duncan and Nancy Sue Jackson, both of Dallas, and Janet Karen Simmons, Baton Rouge; brothers, Luther Elton Wall, Baton Rouge, and Emil Gordon Wall, Conroe, Texas; a sister, Martina Geraldine Anderson, Haughton; and 11 grand- children. Preceded in death by her parents, Martin Luther Wall and Mattie Cutrer Wall; grandson, Jered Kyle Jackson; and four brothers and three sisters. She was a Baptist missionary to Japan for 35 years and a member of First Baptist Church.
