CALVIN, WILMA GASTON
Beloved mother and grandmother Wilma Gaston Calvin, native of Beaumont,
Texas and long time resident of Denham Springs, LA. She was born on 
February 2, 1928 and passed away on May 14, 2010 at age 82. She left a 
beautiful legacy of family that she loved so much, which include a son and 
daughter-in-law, Phil and Sandra Calvin of Hammond, LA; daughter and son-
in-law, Billy and Sandra Calvin Brewer of Denham Springs, LA; 6 grand 
children: Dennis Brewer, Kari Brewer Robbins, and Kevin Brewer from 
Houston, TX; Stacie Calvin Wimbish, Hammond LA, Eric Calvin, Pearl River,
LA; and Steven Calvin, Hammond, LA; 9 great grandchildren: Brian, Andrew, 
Katy, Dylan, Ashlyn, Lauryn, Kristyn, Alaina, and Cayenne whose arrival 
will be in the coming week; one great great grandson, Brayden; one sister, 
Evelyn Goss of Nacogdoches, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband 
Hubert Calvin, father Wilbert Phillip Gaston, and mother Letha Mae Gaston 
Culver of Beaumont, TX.  She is also survived by her special friends, Sandra
Oden and Alma Hodges, and her dog Tiny.  Services will be held at First 
Pentecostal Church in Denham Springs, officiated by Rev. Ray Johnson and 
Rev. Paul Dickson with visitation from 5-9 PM on Saturday, May 15, and from 
12:30PM-2 PM on Sunday, May 16. Services will begin at 2:00 on Sunday, with 
interment at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dennis 
Brewer, Kevin Brewer, Eric Calvin, Steven Calvin, Brian Brewer, Jack 
Robbins.  Services under the direction of Seale Funeral Home, Denham 
Springs.
