CAMBETTA, JOHN S. 
A resident of Amite, he died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at North Oaks Medical
Center, Hammond. He was 43 and a native of Independence. Visitation was at
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation
at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Thursday,
conducted by the Rev. David Cutrer. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum,
Independence. Survived by his wife, Shirley Cox Cambetta, Amite; a son,
John Julius Combetta, Atlanta; a daughter, Angela Marie Combetta, Atlanta;
two stepchildren, Stewart Cox and Angela Brown, both of Amite; a sister,
Ruthie Combetta, LaPlace; a brother, Eric Combetta, Mandeville; an aunt,
Theresa Rodriguez, Amite; and six grandchildren, Brandon Combetta, Cierra
Combetta, Bo Cox, Laurie Cox, Dusti Brown and Michael Brown Jr. Preceded in
death by his parents, Julius and Barbara Lee Combetta.
