She was born on Wednesday, October 4, 1944, in New Orleans, daughter of the late John and Vera Johnson Crouch. Surviving are her son & daughter-in-law, Nick and Dana Cambre, daughter & son-in-law, Ruthie and Tommy Lott, 10 grandchildren, Jim Carter III, Cody Carter, Justin Lott, Jordan Lott, Deondra Walker, Braydra Stewart, Alexandra Cambre, Caydra Cambre, Devin Cambre, Jace Cambre, 8 great-grandchildren, Boaux Carter, Christianne Carter, Ainsley Miller, Landon Lott, Payton Lott, Danyon Stewart, Braydon Stewart, Audrey Rose Walker, sister, Dorothy George, and nieces, Vera C. Lindley, and Misty C. Davis. She is preceded in death by daughters, Catherine Crouch, Irene Denise Crouch Brackett, grandchildren, Daniel Brackett, Bailey Lott, and Jarrett Lott, brothers, John and Archie Crouch, sisters, Cynthia Mable Crouch, and Mary Ann Crouch Buckle. Friends will be received on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A native and resident of Port Vincent, he was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church and held the position of alderman for 20 years. He is survived by six daughters, Evelyn Cambre, Gloria DeLaune, Peggy Savoy, Rita Penalber, Diana Fontenot and Barbara Arceneaux; one son, Dale Cambre; one sister, Marie Phyllis "Nanan" Lass; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grand- children.
