CARDERELLA, JOSEPH PAUL 
A resident of Independence, he died Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at Lallie Kemp
Regional Medical Center, Independence. He was 70 and a native of Tickfaw.
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 
10 p.m. Sunday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until
religious services at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic
Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Rose Carderella Passman, Hammond, and
Frances Carderella, Texas; two sisters, Carmie Reid and Jennie Kelly, both
of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; a brother, Tony Carderella, Queen Creek, Ariz.;
three grandchildren, William Passman Jr., Michael Passman and Bobby
Fincher, all of Hammond; and two great-grandchildren, Katherine Fincher and
Autumn Passman. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances
Muscarello Carderella; two sisters, Virginia Ducoine and Josie Simmons; and
twin brother, Sam Carderella. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
made to the family.
