CARLISLE, ELMER RENE 
Kentwood - Elmer Rene Carlisle, 58, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at Hood
Memorial Hospital, Amite. He was a native of Folsom and a truck driver. He
is survived by his wife, Laura Carlisle of Kentwood; one daughter, Corina
Pierre of Folsom; two sons, Garry Carlisle of Franklinton and Ed Carlisle
of Stoney Point; one stepson, Harold Shelton of Kentwood; a former wife,
Kathleen Jarrell Carlisle of Stoney Point; and six grandchildren. The
funeral was today at Canaan Baptist Church, Stoney Point. Burial was in
Jenkins Cemetery. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, was in charge.
