A native of Baton Rouge, she was a housewife. Survivors include her children, Martha Hanna, Nora Jenkins, Helen Germonini, Barbara Shavera, Mary Larrimore, Freddy Morgan, Pete Carmona, Paul Carmona, Juanita Carmona, Virgil Carmona and Randy Carmona; 19 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Carmona Sr.; two daughters, Dorothy Duke and Kathleen Gayle; her mother, Sarah Gomez; her father, Percy Babin; and three brothers, Louis, Percy and Herbert Babin.
