He was a native of Holden. He is survived by his wife, Rena Mae Carral of Arcola; four sons, Ronald Carral of Jackson, Miss., Kevin Carral of Baton Rouge, Robert Lee Edwards of Roseland, and Lionell Edwards of Amite; three daughters, Sarah and Phyllis Carral Mason, both of Amite, and Donna Carral of Roseland; three sisters, Mary Phillips of Baton Rouge, Geraldine Wall of Richmond, Calif., and Josephine Wright of Vallejo, Calif.; four brother, Louis and Alfred Carral, both of Madera, Calif.; Kenneth Carral of Richmond, Calif.; and Eddie Lee Carral of Suisun, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Amial and Camillia Carral; one sister, Francis Roach; two sons, Aaron Rene Carral and Donald Ray Joseph. The Rev. Bobby Showers conducted the funeral Saturday at Rosevalley Baptist Church, Roseland. Burial was in Mount Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. A former resident of Baton Rouge, LA and native of Arcola, LA, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Madera, CA, where he had resided since 1988. He was 75 years old, a 30-year retiree of Copolymer Corporation who had been employed as a machine operator. Visitation will be at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, 5905 Hwy. 19, Zachary, LA, on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 9 a.m. until dismissal at 11 a.m. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Suvivors include wife, Ruth O. Carral, Madera; children, Linda Legro (Louis), Louis W. Carral, Jr. (Cynthia), Donald L. Carral, Sr. (Marie) and Dwayne L. Carral, Sr., all of Baton Rouge, LA; silblings, Mary J. Spears, Baton Rouge, Geraldine Walls and Kenneth Carral, Richmond, CA, Josephine Wright, Suisun, CA, Alfred Carral (Gloria) Fresno, CA, and Eddie L. Carral (Sharon) Fairfields, CA; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Carral, his parents, Wilson and Camilla Carral, silblings, Francis Roach and Emial Carral.
