CARRENTE, MARY CUCCIA 
A resident and native of Independence, she died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997,
at North Oaks Medical Center. She was 91. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. vigil
prayer service, and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday. Religious services at Mater
Dolorosa Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Dean
Martin. Interment in Colonial Cemetery. Survived by two sons, Frank
Correnti, Kenner, and Andrew Correnti, Independence; three daughters, Mrs.
Sam (Mary) Conti, Metairie, Mrs. Bill (Connie) Jordan, Dallas, and Mrs.
Bill (Katherine) Davis, Independence; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grand-
children and three great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by
husband, Frank Corrente; parents; a daughter, Gertrude Montalbano; two
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
