CASTELLO, KATIE ETHEL 
A resident of Kentwood, she died at 7:42 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 82 and a native of Ethel.
Visiting at Spring Creek Baptist Church, Spring Creek, from 10 a.m. until
religious service at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Danny Smith and
Rev. Eric Latham. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery. Survived by her
sister, Babe Ruth Warren, El Paso, Texas; a brother, Thomas Earl Castello,
Roswell, N.M.; and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceded in death
by her sister, Annie Irene Beck; mother, Elivah Wall Castello; and grand-
parents, Marcus and Dolly Wall. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist
Church. McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of arrangements.
