She was 70, born Monday, Nov. 26, 1934, in Albany. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, and 9 a.m. until religious service at noon Tuesday, Jan. 18. Interment in James Chapel Cemetery, Holden. She is survived by her husband, Salvadore Catalanatto of Tickfaw; three sons, Bobby Leon Stoetzner, Charles Richard Stoetzner and Glen Ray Stoetzner; a daughter, Jerry Lynn Stoetzner; two brothers, Robert McAlister of Walker and Mackarthur "Buddy" McAlister of Albany; three sisters, Julia McAlister of Tickfaw, Eva Lott of Walker and Myrnell Dixon of Walker; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Luke J. Catalanatto, Sr., 62, a native of Hammond and resident of Tickfaw, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, January 9, 1984, at East- Jefferson Hospital, Metairie. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 to 10 tonight, with the Rosary at 8:30. Religious services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw. Burial will be in the Rose Memorial Cemetery, Hammond. He was the husband of Joann Gartoucies Catalanatto. He was born in Baptist, Louisiana on June 23, 1934, to the late Ben and Lena Miloto Catalanatto. He served in the Army and retired from Phillips Oil Co. In addition to his wife, JoAnn survivors include his daughter, Michel and husband Jim Dare, daughter, Renee and husband Dan Chastant, daughter, Denise and husband Kirk Prest, Sr., daughter, Deanna and husband Brian Marzoni; 10 grandchildren, Tracy DeFabio, Megan Dare, Jacob Dare, Danny Chastant, Jr., Lisa Chastant Richard, Mallory Chastant, Kirk Prest, Jr., Justin Marzoni, Bryant Marzoni, and Grant Marzoni; 3 great-grandchildren, Coletin DeFabio, Shelby DeFabio, Gavin Richard. His memberships include Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a volunteer at numerous nursing homes in Tangipahoa Parish. Friends were received Sunday, July 22, 2007, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw, and Monday from 8 a.m. until services. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m., with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina, O.P., Celebrant.Interment followed at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond.
